Concept design and creation of Tēpu, a wooden table made of different pieces joined together.
The goal of this project was to design and make a table by ourselves. We made this table made of a set of different wood pieces (inspired by the cultural diversity of the USA) separated with thin cracks, creating the illusion of an irregular broken table, yet is just the facade! The name we chose for this product was based by the word "table" in maori, which is "tēpu" itself.
